Neptune is in Pisces in our actual sky above us.  In this blog I would like to talk about where exactly Neptune is within the constellation of Pisces, then we will get into his connection with the unseen/spiritual realms as well as the element of water and how that energy may show up physically here on Earth.

In True Sidereal Astrology Pisces has appx. 36 – 38 degrees within the constellation along the ecliptic which is the apparent path that our Sun and planets trace along the sky above us.  Neptune is at 12° Pisces and has 20+ more degrees to go until he reaches the sign of Aries.  The year will be 2038 when Neptune actually crosses the Aries threshold.

***Please note that I will use the word sign and constellation interchangeably throughout this and all of my other blogs and posts.

So, for now Neptune is stationed quite comfortably in his home sign of Pisces.  Neptune rules the sign of Pisces and has since the planet was discovered in 1846.  Prior to Neptune’s discovery, Jupiter ruled Pisces.  Pisces is now considered the unconscious expression of Jupiter, and Sagittarius it’s conscious expression.  Neptune in Pisces is very watery and brings a variety of feelings and topics to light within us.  This enlightenment is on a very unconscious level within us, both collectively and individually.  That means that we must look quite deep within ourselves in order to really access all of the energy Neptune has to offer.  Meditation, lucid dreaming, and music are some ways we can tap into our own internal Neptunian energetic expression.

Neptune is the ruler of the unseen world, the spiritual, the energetic realm that goes widely unseen.  Did you know that our brains filter out 99% of the world around us as to not cause overwhelm??!!  That’s a massive portion of our reality that goes unseen, nearly all reality goes unseen by us humans, and yet there are so many of us convinced that this is all there is.  It’s quite unfathomable.  Since Neptune rules this space of the unseen…..there is a lot involved here.  Neptune in Pisces may also cause extra sensitivity, both emotionally and spiritually.  Neptune’s influence illuminates a deep undercurrent of empathy, psychic sensitivity, and a desire to connect with the divine through feeling and intuition.  Neptune and Pisces are both connected with the 12th house, which is the house of endings, dreaming, the unseen, as well as hidden enemies.  It is highly likely that from now until Neptune leaves Pisces in 2038 we will see many more themes and emergences around spiritual truth, hidden enemies, and the unseen world.  Science has recently confirmed that the vast majority of space is indeed made up of dark matter (the unseen).  We are also beginning to see public enemies (P.Diddy, Epstein, etc).  Enemies that have been right under our nose the entire time.  Combined with floods all over the US and world, Neptune is surely working on helping Mama Gaia to wash away energetic illusions. Floods of spiritual truths can also happen here.  For example, we have more and more information about ancient tablets and languages that are being studied right now.  Things that have been dug up out of the Earth that may change human history, as we know it, forever.

Water being the ruling element of both Neptune and Pisces.  Themes of water showing up in the physical realm is likely to happen.  Of course, we have all been witness to the events and floods that have been happening lately that seemingly come out of nowhere.  Neptune is also responsible for dissolving ordinary reality, illusions, and fantasies that may have existed prior to his stay in Pisces.  Neptune will wash away illusions and make room for collective higher consciousness rooted in truth and unity instead.  On a physical level that may look like floods, communities coming together after such disasters to rebuild a hopefully better foundation, more rooted in awareness of unity consciousness.

Worldwide we are seeing many changes and information coming out that is difficult to discern.  This can also be attributed to Neptune in Pisces.  Neptune moves so slowly that the changes happening do so over a longer period of time.  As Neptune washes away the previous illusions set in place collectively our unconscious changes as well.  Neptune desires collective unity and will move its energy in order to promote this as needed.

We may all feel more emotional as well as tempted to use substances as a means of escape.  On the positive side, certain substances can be utilized for spiritual journeying and discovery promoting personal growth and liberation.  It’s all about our intentions and how we use the natural plant healers available to us.  Use, but do not abuse.

This is also a time of significant dreams.  While Neptune is here, it’s a good idea to pay extra close attention to your dreams and write them down.  Often, I find that if I do not write my dreams down soon after waking, I forget some information that could have been quite useful in my interpretation.  As many of you know, dreams are a way our subconscious gives our conscious mind information.  Dreams let us know what past patterns we may still be stuck in, habits we need to work on releasing, fears and traumas that still need healing can all come up during dream time.  I have also noticed that when I do write my dreams down with dedication, I often am able to move through a thick and hurtful energy that I had previously been holding onto.

Overall, Neptune in Pisces is a great time to focus in on our dreams, goals, and talents with a focus on unity and healing. Then, ground them into reality by taking real action towards our goals. Connecting with our spiritual side as well as with others and promoting togetherness is very much a part of this energy stream.  Anchoring feelings of compassion by doing volunteer work, for example, will help us achieve unity goals.  However, creating firm boundaries when needed is also necessary.  It’s also a great time to express compassion and sensitivity towards others without allowing their feelings into your own personal energetic field.  This is why boundaries are important. Neptune wants connection on a deep energetically unseen collective level, and when in watery Pisces he will bring a new awakening to Earth and all her inhabitants.

Allow Neptune in Pisces to guide you (without force) towards greater awakening, compassion, and unity with all.

With Love,

Rachel 🌹
